[101025] My 4th Hobbes Doll

I took this order from a customer in the states a few months ago, and since they were not on a rush, all the other orders and work kind of took over my days, and the next thing I knew was that I needed to finish it within a couple of days. I felt horrible... and I was so sorry for my customer. I think I should have a small notebook with me all the time and keep everything on track from now on.

It's the 4th Hobbes doll of mine. I still don't have a pattern written yet. I think I should, but I don't know how to write a pattern. Hehe, gotta learn it soon;) Here is a picture of him below:

I hope they like him:) I might crochet one more, just in case I get another order in the future. Next up probably is Birdock the 3rd, and then Ah fook, and then Puni puni... Fun fun;)

  2. Thank you Katelyn:)

I still haven't succeeded making a pattern for him actually... I have asked by some people already and I try writing it down, but every time, I somehow forget to take a note, and end up making it without a pattern... Hehe, when I finally make it, I will put it on my Etsy store and also write a post on this blog:)

  33. Hi Ai, I have a nephew named Calvin, and his first birthday is in August. His mom has sone up his room with all four walls as a different Calvin and Hobbes theme, and for his birthday we are serving a cake made up like a scene from Calvin's snowman patterns. I was wondering if I could commission you to create another of your amazing stuffed tigers. My email address is flipflopjammin97@gmail.com, if you are interested. Thank you!

  38. Hello, I noticed you posted this years ago. Hope you still reply. This is a great design.
A friend of mine got a hold of your picture and told me to make it for them. Did you finally learn how to write a pattern?
If not, I have a couple of questions I hope you don't mind answering.
What size hook and yarn did you use?
For the head stripes, nose, and mouth. Are they crochet along with the pattern or were they done separetly? I can't tell if they are crochet or a different matetrial.
If they are crocheted separately did you sew them on the head or did you glue them? Did you do this before or after you added the head and muzzle stuffing?
If they are a different material , what did you use? How were they attached?
    Here's my email if needed.
